There are six exhibition sectors showcasing renowned artists and emerging talent, with added emphasis this year on local artists.

Over 181 local and international galleries will be presenting works around 34,782m² of exhibition space in Wanchai.

It open to the public tomorrow (Thursday, May 15th) and runs until Sunday 18th.

Tickets are best purchased from HK Ticketing and start from HK$250.

There is an iPhone app to help navigate the event.

Over 60,000 people visited the show over five show days last year. Click to see coverage of the 2013 event.

Next year, Art Basel will move to March in the hope of spacing out international art festivals. It will likely take the rest of Art Week with it.
